It's a good job I am not scared of heights!

I just had a job interview this morning at a bank in the City, I thought the interview went well, nice job description, lovely young company and OMG... the offices were amazing. All modern, glass and marble but,

They were on the 35th floor of a City sky scraper! The lift took 0-5 seconds to take me there and when it arrived, my ears popped! I looked out of the window whilst waiting in reception (they had massive floor to ceiling glass windows) and couldn't believe the sights that I could see! I could probably have even seen where I live if I was that clever.

It's a good job I am not scared of heights!!!

Thanks both I have another interview elsewhere tomorrow and another on Monday too...

I think the job this morning was quite competitive actually, but I can't think too much about it until I hear. It's hard to know what the other ppl are thinking. But today would have been worth it if I don't get it just to see those fantastic views!

Wow, must have been better than the London Eye! If I worked somewhere like that I think I'd spend the whole day gazing out the window though

I've got the staff car park! Although, we do have a few trees so I get the benefit of watching a family of squirrels too

Yeah but, I would use that to my advantage if Maccy D's was THAT close by!


Well...

I don't want to tempt fate, and I don't think I am going to be able to sleep for the next few nights cos I just had a call from the agency who had feedback already from my interview this morning...

They said that I have a lovely personality and they think that I would fit in very well with their team.... They are interviewing tomorrow a few more people but by Monday/Tuesday I should know if I have a 2nd interview - at least they have not said "No" straight away so it looks positive

Now, I am just concentrating on doing my research / game plan for tomorrows interview...

I worked in a basement for my first job It has it's advantages if there is no air con in the building!!

I hit McDonald this am for "breakfast"!!!

Did I mention that the basement I dwell in during the work-day is IN a McD's? I'm employed by a franchisee.

I'd take a view of McDonald's--I work in a little dark room all day (I'm an optometrist).
