I took Zeke in for an appointment today to see why he has been peeing outside his box.
I was figuring if he had a UTI then I could understand this behavior and go from there.
Well, the vet did a urine test (direct to the bladder with a needle...yeah poor baby). The test came back with a trace of blood. The vet said there were no crystals, but the blood could have come from the needle, or it could have been in his urine. So we decided to give antiboidics(sp?) and see if that works.
So, my question is what does "crystals" mean? And what exactly is a Urinary Tract Infection?
