Not so new here, but thought I should introduce myself any ways.

HI Group:
Just thought I should introduce myself. I have been on here for about a month or so. But just now had some time to let you all know who I am. LOL I am a lady that is crazy for animals. Grew up on a farm, where I had horses, cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, not to mention Dog's and Cat's as my closes friends. :-) I have since moved to the ugly city, but it has it's charm too I guess. But it only allows me to have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My husband breathes a sigh of relief, because it means that he doesn't have to deal with more then what he already calls my zoo. LOL He loves them all though, I was blessed with a great and understanding husband. I plan on some day moving to the country, and getting a few big dogs. (can't stand the idea of cooping a big dog up in my small apartment) So they will have to wait until I find a bigger home and land for them to run around on with me tagging along. But for now God has blessed me with a good man, and two Chihuahuas Belle and Pippen, and two kittens Bing and Sammy. They mix so well together, you wouldn't know that Cats and Dog's are known for not getting along. That rule doesn't apply for these guys. And I am happy to have that rule broken in my home. They love to play together, though my Belle can get a bit mean. I have to pull her in a bit, so she doesn't over play with the kittens. But they are learning to either swap at her, or get up high where she can't go. Or just ask me to take care of her by tattling on her. LOL As for Pippen he is the more laid back of the two dogs, he just likes to lay by me or in the sun which ever is the best spot at the time. As for the kittens, Bing is the laid back of two. He loves to play, but he also is a bit lazy. Sammy is the one who likes to see how everything works. He will get in to places he shouldn't even know about. And he loves to watch his kitty TV (our fish tank). We are going to have to put a better lid on it, or we may find that he has gone fishing when we return home. HI Francine!

I'm even newer here than you, but happy to meet everyone. My work makes it impossible for me to have a dog right now, but when I retire & can be home for walks, I plan on a Rescue Great Pyrenees. Maenwhile, I get by with 10 in-house cats and whatever ferals drift by. All but one of my present cats were born to feral mothers; the other was a runaway from a little boy down the street. His family let her out every day & she refused to go back in. I had adopted 2 orange cats left by the former owners and/or renters of the house I bought, and the guy brought Velvet in. They were a cute pair, in Halloween colors on my lap - orange & black.

HAve a great time with you menagerie and their interactions. My little feline herd is a constant source of comic relief & love.
