Hello From Oregon

I have 2 cats, Shasta and Cali. Shasta is a long haired orange and white with green eyes and Cali is short hair Calico with blue eyes. I've had cats since I was 2 and have had them ever since. I like a lot of other animals as well though, I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 leopard gecko, and a 55 gallon fish tank. But I'm not just all about domestic animals, I'm involved with conservation programs to help protect some of the more endangered species from around the world.

I also like to do photography and draw, both of which I've won awards for some of my work.

Since I kind of forgot to tell you, my name is Josh

I wouldn't say I'm an animal activist, I just don't like some of the stuff that's pinned on them. People then tend to thing you're a member of PETA and a vegitarian, which definately doesn't describe me

Hi welcome to the site.

Happy to "meet" another in the fight to save the wildlife, (albeit I am a vegetarian and my picture-taking is tarrible, although my cats' bad attitude does not help. Altho some have the posing gene, they are all camera-phobic.)

The majority of my charity donations go to animal welfare & preservation groups. My friends are not plesed, telling me it would be better to help the homeless or suppor tthe arts. But, hey, I help out at soup kitchens a few times a year & buy season tickets to the arts I like best. Seems they have lots of supporters & lawyers. Not clear that California cougars have.

Solo is a great dog, but just keep in mind the Siberian Husky definately isn't for everybody, they are hard to train and sometimes stubborn.

your husky is gorgeous. and your cat reminds me of my own. i'm fairly new here too, so send me a pm!
