red bald spot

It doesnt realy seem like my cat is sick but he has a bald spot with a wound. And after about 2 days the spot seems to have grown larger.

Does anyone know what could have caused this? Or more importantly is it something serious?

Is there an actual bite mark in the center? Do you have the ability to take a picture? I could post it for you

I guess you didn't have time to respond. I think it's best that you take your kitty to a vet, it could be ringworm or something worse.... Best to get it checked out.

thanks for the reply's. I dont have a digital camera so taking a picture would require some time.

I'll take your advice and go see the vet.
