Hi,
I know there are about a million stool questions every day on this board. I apologise for this next one.
Luna is a new member to our family, we've had her about a month and a half now. Before we got her she was on Meow Mix. When we brought her home, her bowel was fine, she was in heat and we started to change her over to Natural Balance. She was fine with this transition. After about a week, we brought her into the vet to be spayed. After we brought her home, she had diarrehia. We waited a couple of days, thinking it might be a reaction to the meds, and then brought in a stool sample to the vet. They didn't find any worms. The vet gave us some antiboitics for the bowl, saying that sometimes an imbalance can happen. The pills are finished, and they helped a bit but now it's consistantly soft (formed) and sometimes a little loose. It's not a funny colour.
When Chester had a similar problem (only difference was his smelled really bad and were white) all it took was a change from kitten-cat food. We're wondering if this could be a diet thing and not a medical thing. Mom's thinking about picking up a bag of Performatrin Ultra tonight because it appears that Luna has stopped eating the Natural Balance.
What would be your next course of action?
