Age to Reach Full Size?

I was wondering what age is a cat when it reaches it's full, adult size. That is .... when do the bones stop growing?

I recall Charlotte was about 1.5 years or maybe almost 2 years old when she seemed to reach her adult frame size. Izzie is 1 years now and her bone structure is smaller than Charlotte's. This to me seem to indicate that she is not finished growing. I'm just curious.

I suspect this may be dependent to some extent on the breed, as well as the care and feeding a particular cat may have. The experts say that Turkish Vans, for example, are not full-grown until they are about 5 years of age.

If Samwise keeps growing for 2-1/2 more years we are going to have to get a larger house.

I thought for males it was about 2 years??? I don't know about females though.

I heard someone tell me between 9-12 months, once, but Lola is 5 months and only weighs like 4 pounds 10 ounces, so if that's the case, i'm going to have a kitten-sized cat forever!

I always thought it was a year and a half. Charcoal is so big though and he is only a year so I am wondering if he will grow anymore.

Most kitties about 12-18 months .... Some like bengals , maine coon about age 3
