I'm back - hope you're all well

Hi guys!

Bf and I got back from our 2 month trip last night. We had a FAB time in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and LA. Will upload photos and share some stories as soon as I get over my jetlag!

Hope those of you in the southern states are safe and well - sending lots of good vibes your way. There have been 2 metre floods here in Switzerland, although not that close to where we live, plus my car has a load of dents in the roof from the golf-ball size hail that hit the region a few weeks back! Is it just me or is the world's weather just out of control these days?

We stayed in New Zealand for a month - it was great! We hired a campervan and toured around both islands, covering about 6000km in total!

Actually we passed through Wellington to get the ferry and spent an afternoon in the Te Papa musuem because it was raining

New Zealand is an awesome place - what a beautiful country you live in!

We had a fantastic time and came away with lots of great memories from many places. More updates when I get some photos up and running (I took 9 rolls of 36 film with my SLR!!!), in the meantime here are a few highlights....

Singapore - drank Singapore slings at Raffles; came within 30ft of a rhino on the night safari ; soaked up the atmosphere of Little India on a Sunday night

Australia - toured the Yarra Valley wineries north of Melbourne; bf went skiing in Mt Hotham and kayaked Sydney Harbour; got addicted to "I like the way" by Bodyrockers

New Zealand - saw sperm whales, seals, albatross and dolphins off the coast of Kaikoura; hiked and went horse-riding in Abel Tasman; went skiing in Whakapapa and bf did a sky dive in Wanaka; saw dozens of little blue (fairy) penguins and 2 very rare yellow-eyed penguins in Oamuru; sang karaoke with the locals at a sports bar in Opononi

Hawaii - got sunburned and nearly lost my bikini bottoms surfing Waikiki ; got pulled on stage to do the hula ; visited the USS Arizona memorial; got sunburned some more sitting under a tree in Waimea

LA - walked the whole of Hollywood Blvd looking for Frank Sinatra's star; got soaked on the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios
