blood and mucus in stools

My persian mia is 2yrs old.This morning i noticed she had blood and watery mucus in her stools,infact it was more or less mainly bllod and mucus.She doesnt appear to be ill but i am very worried and she is going to the vets for a check up.She has been wormed so it cant be that.Can anyone give me some advice and has anyone had a cat with this problem.thanks

Take her to the vet as soon as you can. It doesn't sound good to me, but I'm not an expert. If it were my kitty, she would already be at the vets.

Please take her to the vet ASAP. I don't know what's causing it but I'm sure that blood in the stool is very serious.

It can mean a number of things...all of which need vet care, and a vet to properly diagnose. Good for you for being observant, please come back and update us after the vet apt?
