Calico Maine Coons

My Step mom has talked to a breeder of Maine coons who specialises in calicos. I have never seen one...i think they are lovely. Given my love of Calicos...*eyes the calico girl Lyla on her lap hehe* here they are...my step mom is now going to start doing her research and planning a cattery...the breeder is going to work with her when she is ready..to breed her own calico maine coon babies..i honestly dont know much about maine coons..other than they are BIG lol and pretty.. these guys are lovely.

I have always always wanted a maine coon they are so sweet and those are so beautiful, the calicos are to sweet, I love the Orange ones also I saw some at a couple of Cat shows, hopefully someday

I can have one . Is that more then one litter?

I have no idea she didnt say.. but they are beautiful and look at the kitten pile..i also can see they are pepsi drinkers. LOL thats AOK By me lol

Does your Step Mom plan FAST

I would probably have to wait for her's

I see when she starts you will let me know won't you

The last ones I looked at were close to or more then a $1,000
lets figure that out if she gets up and running by years end and starts with babies herself

then has to breed Oh gads what 2 yrs or so, I can do that

Put me on a waiting list, and hope and pray I'm not to old for one by then

LOL..well she is not sure when she will own the babies. her and my dad have to move first. tehehe

Tell her to get MOVING then

I may not be able to think to far down the line,and I may like to still be able to play with that kitty, but then I may be getting my SSI by that time

And no need to try and get that new house in order either, just start fixing up them cats

I Love them to, but the reason I have alway's like the maine coons is because of there wonderful personality and there size, I Love big cats
anyway whats the deal will there be calico males when you have them? I'm a male cat lover, although the 3 babies I have right now that are left and the 2 I found homes for were all girls so I have a little differant idea of the girls...But I think it's because they way I took care of them, I have alway's thought that no matter what they were sex wise, if you shower them with Love and Care they will be great pets, but that's just me

true. heh i love big fluffy floppers thats why i love my persians. they are not as big as maine coons by any means but they are good sized. I dont know if i will have any male calicos. They are rare but there is always the chance i will. and it would sell for the same price as any other pet quality male in my brood
