I am tryin to register Justice back in his old school in St Pete and because of this new "School Choice" thing they got it's 100 times more difficult to do it. Now i have to drive 80 miles to pick up the paperwork, have it notarized and then, maybe then they will tell me if they can get him into the same school he was in last year. Where we live now they did it by zoning. Not by "pick your school and we'll let you know if we have an opening and if we dont we will put your child on the other side of town in the worst neighborhood" God what are some of these school and goverment officials thinking?!

I don't have kids yet, so I cannot personally rant about our school system (though my mother is a media specialist here, so I should probably just defend ours).
I will say, however, that many a good teacher got their start in your neck of the woods- my mother had her first teaching job in Tampa after graduating from USF
