I came up with a dumb idea at the pool

Well, I was swimming around, not having fun, and then it hit me. Someone should make carbonated swimming pools! They would be all fizzy when you jump in, splash around, etc.

Just a goofy idea, but wouldn't it be fun?

I think you mean carbonated. Personally jumping into a pool of carbon does not trip my trigger

LOL I agree! When I saw "carbonized" all I could think of was Han Solo in carbonite. hehe

Yes, a carbonated swimming pool would be very cool...lots of fun.

I think the bubbles would tickle. I'd like to see all the the fizz you could make from doing a cannonball LOL!!!

Aargh! You know what I mean.... ...............carbonated .

It'd be like a cooler hot tub with smaller bubbles! I think it'd be fun too.

I also want carbonated orange juice. My mom says the stuff exists but I dont ever see any how hard would it be to put orange juice concentrate and mix it with carbonated water instead of regular water?

I had something once to add to the tub that made it fizz some. But a whole fizzy pool, sounds like a great idea.

BigOrangeConcentratedMenace, why don't you get the carbonated water bottles and mix it with OJ concentrate, and let us know if it is any good?

They make a bathtub that is kinda carbonated. I saw it on "I Want That!" on HGTV. It was a way cool bathtub with different colored lights, and the jets put out little bubbles that would stick to the skin. Of course, I can't find it again. Not even on the HGTV page.

Why not try mixing soda water with orange mix/squash?

It tastes yummy!

I think it's a brilliant idea - imagine how much easier it would be to float on top of the water! So does anyone have a swimming pool that we can conduct a test in

that would be a good idea, save for the fact that so much airspace in water actually makes it harder to swim in Mind you I'd swim in it if I got the chance!!

I used to have day dreams when I was a kid of swimming pools full of my favourite things, like coke, oj, yoghurt, MacD milkshakes! Never crossed my mind that you'd probably drown in a yoghurt one rather than swim

I think I can now safely say that the rest of this sunny afternoon will be spent nonetheless day dreaming about an olympic sized pool full of strawberry yogurt

What you do is you mix sprite or ginger ale with orange juice.
If you are over 18, you mix it with vodka
(though I like mine plain...its great.)
