I send my laundry out...costs about 20/25 bucks which is probably close to what I would pay taking in account the quarters for the washer & dryer and the price of detergent, bleach and softener. They come back folded so beautifully, that they belong in a museum. There is also a matter of my precious time saved...there is no dollar amount to match that. Try it, you will feel the chains being cut from your ankles!

I do my own at the laundrymat and have been tempted to drop it off too, but my BF's laundry is so bad (He's a landscaper) that I would be too embarrased to have someone else do it!
I mean, he's a very clean person, but his work clothes (especially socks) have so many stains!

I love doing laundry. I love dusting. I love cleaning toilets. I even love cleaning floors, windows, cat-messes, kid-messes, grown-men-messes. None of these things make me frown.

However I cannot STAND soap scum. I fear soap scum, mold and that limey looking stuff IN THE SHOWER!!!! Cleaning a shower and/or bathtub is the awfullest, most disgusting thing on earth for me!!!

I'd rather clean up puke & poop all day long than touch ONE dirty shower!!!

Snert, well there are two schools of thought on that, one is to get a selfcleaning one, I WISH, the second is to disconnect the smoke alarms before fireing it up and dragging a couple of LARGE fans into the kitchen or wearing a respirator......

Actually, I have tried it myself. It takes a bit (few minutes) to figure out what to do. If you are at home why not give a go. I was amaze when I saw the video but was even more amazed when I did it for myself.

Definitely vacuuming - it bothers my back.

I love ironing and folding clothes - love the smell.

I actually don't mind any housechores except the vacuuming. I don't do yard work - that's man's work. I don't ask him to cook or clean, he doesn't ask me to do yard work.

That's how it is with us too! Except that he hates yard work too. I do go out and help though because I feel bad for him. I just can't wait for a yard guy.

Ironing is just awful - In fact I have learnt to buy clothes that never need ironing!

Don't... just don't go there
I cleaned my front windows and back windows this morning and now my arms are really, really aching.... It was about 7 windows in total but they are large windows and have 2 panes so really it was 14 windows...

My job is even harder because I live in a first floor flat so I have to hang out of the windows to do this jobs - which is a death defying stunt in itself!

My guess is that they have seen it all. I am truly lazy, I don't drop off, they pick up and deliver...maybe that way you are more anonymous.

Now THAT would be a joy. The worst part is lugging it up and down the stairs!

I hate cleaning the oven or microwave the most! I also hate cleaning Scott's bathroom. He leaves stubble all over the sink. It is such a typical guy's bathroom. I'm so glad we both have our "own" bathrooms now. However, if I didn't clean it, it wouldn't get done. I just cleaned out the microwave today AND cleaned his sink today...yuck!

I also disliked doing the dishes, but I never put it off too much.....especially like I do the microwave and oven. My new apartment has a dishwasher! I've never had a dishwasher before....now I just put my dishes in there and run it every few days. One less thing to do! YAY!

I hate cleaning the bathroom. Brad tends to leave stubble in the sink ALL the time and it drives me crazy!
I also don't clean the windows. It's a miracle you can see through them! Neither one of us have done one since we've moved in here. A quick wipe but not a through cleaning. I can't STAND windows.
Being OCD I never let Brad do anything inside if I can help it. He does it wrong all the time, and gets offended if I redo it. So he does all the outside things, I do all the inside things. This way we stay happy! I can't mow the lawn and he can't fold clothes. Works well this way.
