Good vibes for injured kitten

Hey everybody, I'm requesting good vibes and prayers for a sweet little guy, Charlie, who our coordinator rescued on Sat. One of the neighborhood residents said he'd been hit by a car. He was rushed to our vet for xrays and it turns out he has very serious fractures in both legs. Charlie is going in for surgery this morning. Since he's such a little guy (no more than three months) the vet says it's risky to put him under, but she feels it's worth it to try to save his legs. She plans to put a pin in each one and feels his prognosis is good to walk again, although probably with limp.

Despite what he's been through, Charlie is such a sweetheart. He's extremely affectionate and demands attention. Please send good vibes and prayers for him. I'll update when I know more.

Lucky little guy to have been found by such good people. Will be thinking of Charlie, and sending lots of {{{GOOD}}} vibes his way.

Just found out that the vet who's doing the surgery (not our regular one) suspects Charlie's injuries were not the result of being hit by a car, but something done to him deliberately. She'll know more once she operates. I'm so angry about this possibility, I can't think straight right now!

That is terrible!!, it always amazes and disgusts me that someone could do that to a living creature. I'm sending get well vibes to poor Charlie.

Will the vet let you contact the press and local news to tell the kittens story and what the vet found out? Besure to take pictures to give to them. A lot of people will donate money to the vet to help the little guy.
You need to get his story out there, it might help you find who did this.

Good news! Little Charlie survived the surgery and the vet was able to put the bones back together. He has to stay overnight at the clinic and we'll know more tomorrow.

You did a good thing for him.

As a sidenote - my cat's paw was broken as a kitten and someone just threw her away. Since she was still growing and did not get vet care, the bones healed horribly and she can barely walk on it (but she adjusted). You have given Charlie a chance to live an even more happy life than the one you already offered him. Thank you for taking such good care of him.

Thank you for your kind words and the care you've given your cat. Charlie should be released from the vet today, so I'll update when I know more.

Also, we were able to trap his mother and sister who are now in foster care as well. They seem fine and are very sweet.
