Ok my friend said she thinks I need to have my cat's colon cleaned out because when she poops it smells real bad. Has anyone else had there cats colon cleaned out?

Smelly poops may be caused by the food they are eating. Trying different foods seems to me to be a much easier and gentler method than having their colon cleaned out.
It would also be easier to have her stool checked for any parasites (i.e. just as humans can get giardia from contaminated well water or city water, so can cats).
it could be the food. every since i started feeding chloe iams, she has THE stinkiest poo ever.

I too would check the stool and then look at diet ... I wouldnt cleanse a cat just due to them not being able to say thats too much
