Question

My 8 week old kittens haven't had there shots yet, but i was wondering if it is ok if i interact them with my other cats who are older and UTD on there shots?

Honestly....I would have them 'oked' by the vet first before allowing any interactions.

I wonder -- if one of the older cats has latent herpes, could that be transferred to the kittens?

My cats don't have herpes. They are healthy.

But if it's latent, you wouldn't necessarily know it. That's why I asked. Latent herpes infections are asymptomatic and the cat appears 100% healthy at a vet check-up.

Feline herpes is not contagious to humans.
