I just got a little baby boy kitten.
His name is Moxie.
He's very very happy, playful and needy. He just started eating last night, Babyfood and mushed up hard food. But he wont drink. He hasn't peed yet. He'll like a little bit of water off my fingers, but thats it. Also, is it bad to leave him alone in the afternoons while I go to work? I was very upset leaving him, even though my mother said he would be fine....I feel like a mom who left her son at daycare for the first time!

There is a lot of water in wet food so hopefully he is getting enough water...but the not peeing does disturb me. Has he been to the vet?? Also, if you are gone a lot of the day...I would really recommend you consider another kitten to be his playmate.

Are you sure he is not peeing? he could be either peeing on himself, or peeing on your carpet. You need to not use a standard litter pan for this little one (not yet) I buy those aluminum throw-away cake pans and use them for young kittens. They are cheap, and you just want to use plain clay litter, nothing scented and no clumping
