Tell us your first name and if you had been named something else, what would you have wanted it to be?
Well, I've never minded Susie, but I guess if I had to pick another name, I like Jenny!Originally Posted by Sar

How about you, Susie?!
Allie - why not go for and refer to yourself as Lia from a certain point onward. It's easier to do if you're entering into something new, a new job or college where nobody knew you before; but it is possible to do and very liberating. The people who care about you will get used to it in now time.Originally Posted by lionessrampant
My name is Allie, which is short for Allison.
I don't particularly care for Allison (at all) and I'm on ok terms with Allie...I feel like I would happier going by my middle name which is Lia. I also like my sister's name (Emily) better than my own.
My best friend in HS was Stefanie w/an F.Originally Posted by darkeyedgirl
My first name is Stefanie. Spelled with an F, on my birth certificate.
I changed it when I was 13, started using the PH instead (Stephanie) cuz EVERYONE kept getting it WRONG and I got SICK of saying USE THE F.
So I'm a ph now.

Anyway I like my name a whole lot, either way ya spell it, it fits me.
I was thinking about doing that after I graduate and start a job. I also feel like the name Lia is prettier, more grown up and more femmie than Allie is...which would suit a pro-performer more than Allie (which, you know, I'm mostly good with) and I HATE going by Allison. Maybe Ian and my Dad will never get over me being their Allie (Or, as Ian calls me "affectionately", Aloe), but then, it might be a special name reserved for those twoOriginally Posted by flisssweetpea
