Five and a half months
I don't know how much he weighs, our scale is not all that accurate and last time they were weighed was over a month ago when they went in for their final series of shots.

Is he one of those Norwegian Forest Cats? (I think that's the right breed). He is stunning!

No, he's a Maine Coon --- "Congocoons Mithril of RoseHawke" if you want to be formal about it LOL. The differences between the two breeds can be subtle, but generally when you look a NFC in the face, think "triangles" and when you look at a MC, think "square." Generally speaking the NFCs have a more pixieish look about them, at least in my opinion, while the Maine Coons are a bit "rougher." Of course there's a lot of overlap amongst individuals of a large population sample.

Both breeds are just stunning and Mithril is so fab. I really like his larger frame Dr. Spock ears- too precious!

Funny you should say that
, TGC Hillside Mr. Spock of Willowplace, OS was Melichus' sire (his breeder lived in Birmingham at the time.) The story she told me wast that presumably Spock was "all ears" when he was a kitten. The boys trace back to Spock in the 5th generation, and to Melichus' dam in I think the 7th. The main reason I went with these kitties from this breeder was that her stud combined those two bloodlines, that of Melichus' sire and dam, although of course the blood is so far back that it's negligble and they're not for breeding anyway. Nostalgia, nothing more.

For the heck of it, I've been tracing their pedigree, and have it up on my site here.

Mithril is gorgeous.
How much do you expect him to weigh when he is full grown?

Thank you
. There's no telling, really, he may just have big feet
! I do know his sire is huge, I'd guess weighing in at 18-20 lbs. And he's a breeding male, mind, no extra fat on him! I'm having them both neutered sometime in the next month, and I've heard that neuters will get bigger than entire cats. I can't see him getting bigger than his dad though, LOL.

Beautiful! He may give Amber and Boris a run for their money in the size department when he's fully grown.

And look, he already takes up most of the table! Holly's almost three months older than he is and he looks like he's twice her size! I bet her satellite dish ears are bigger tho

Yup, those are some big ol' Bugs Bunny feet if I ever saw any! You should rename him Bugsy!!
