My dh agrees. He says he doesn't have a feminine side. So I asked, what about when you cuddle and kiss the kids? He says that is masculine. To define it as feminine is almost like saying it is unnatural for a man to cuddle with his kids! He doesn't think that when I drive and he is the passenger that I am acting masculine. And he doesn't think when he is cooking or doing the dishes that he is acting feminine. He is being the man of the house and taking care of business!
I don't mind men who dress metro, but they are not attractive to me. What I do mind, is looking in a store for clothes for dh or son, and not finding one thing that they would wear! It isn't just about color. Just like a metro guy won't be caught dead in a flannel shirt, my dh refuses some of the new fashions.
As for men in kilts, I don't think you can understand until you actually see it. A picture doesn't do justice...men in kilts do not appear feminine! The ones I have seen were very comfortable in their own skins, and walk with confidence, and definitely look MALE!
