I actually prefered the American version, but thought the Japanese version of The Grudge was much, much better than the American version.

Rigel, I love the Hellraiser movies. Clive Barker is one of my favorite authors.

Christy, it's too bad you live so far away. We'd have THE best horror movie marathon!
Ever seen the Sleepaway Camp movies? I own the trilogy on DVD

Never seen them, have been spoiled for the big surprise. I should get them, though, just to say I have.

I really like Fantasy! I really like pretty much ALL genres, that's why I was a film major.
But since I had to pick one I went for Comedy.

I wonder what really qualifies under fantasy lately though... OBVIOUSLY the LoTR trilogy, but what about all the comic-based movies? X-Men and Spiderman... Are they action/thrillers? Fantasy?

Sorry, school stuff popping up again.

That was tough - having to pick just one! I went with comedy, but there are several different categories I would have picked if it was multiple choice.

My favourite is comedy, followed closely by fantasy and then Sci Fi. I'm not a big Drama or Romance fan.

Interesting... I didn't expect comedy to be the number one choice so far.

My favorite is suspense/thriller. I would pick Horror, but no horror movie scares me, so that ticks me off
. Most horror movies are bad, though, really cheesy and stupid. Quite a lot of the thrillers are well made, and heck, I even like the mystery aspect of some of the movies, lol ("So, who killed Janie?... It was Frank?!")
