Brushing teeth game

A couple months ago, I bought some cat toothbrush/paste, etc and to my surprise found out that most of my cats LOVES it! Now, whenever I bring it out , I have to fight them off! Sometimes Spikey and Buddy wouldn't let the others near the toothbrush with the paste on it so I have to push Buddy and Spikey away so others could get their teeth brushed. LOL..

I took some GREAT videos of these and would LOVE to show u guys but not sure how I can post here so I'll have to ask some computer geniuses about this and let u know if u're interested.

Awwww don't they look cute I really don't think my two would entertain a toothbrush?.

My vet gave me two sample sachets of toothpaste to try on them and said to start off by using my finger with the paste then work up to the toothbrush but i havent got round to doing it yet.

Thanks for the compliment! I was going to start with my finger also but as soon as I took the cap off the toothpaste, the black boys started crowding me so I thought I'd test it and put it on the toothbrush and to my shock they started licking it off the toothbrush.

I am still working on getting them used to having their teeth brushed though.

As of now, as they lick, I'll move the brush aiming to brush their teeth. It's hilarious to see them trying to lick it off as fast as they could before I could smear it all over their teeth. THEN they would spend time licking their teeth....

I think i might get them a brush?. Do you get down the sides of their mouths ok with it?

Jack Daniels already gets PO'ed when I have to give him a bath and brush him..I could imagine trying to brush his teeth!

My boys both LOVE chewing a toothbrush! I think it does wonders for teething. Now I just have to buy some toothpaste and go from there

Susan - have you tried giving them a bare toothbrush to chew? You may find they like it too!
