September of last year I got in two four-month old feral kittens. One it took me about three months to socialize and she is the sweetest most loving cat in the world now. The other, well, she has been much tougher. She has been living with me almost a year now. Until this week I actually have never even been able to touch her. I decided to start feeding her wet food in a room by herself every evening with my hand on the plate. Then I put the wet food on my fingers and let her eat them off. At first she would lick and run, lick and run. Well, last night I put the back of my hand out over her plate of wet food and she had to nudge my hand up and put her head under my hand to eat. My hand was basically resting on her head while she ate!! She is still wary of me and if I move to much she will run, but hey this is more progress than I have made in the last year. I'm so excited, I just wanted to share it with everyone!!
