Amaruuk falls in love

Love never comes the way you think it will. This is how it walked up to me today.

Just as she arrived. Had a very very close friend of mine give her to me as a birthday present. I saw this tiny girl and I was totally in love.

She's a registered Abyssinian, her mother breeds them. My friends mother. Not the kitty's.

Her name is Black Pansy.
I cannot tell you how my heart is healed by this little girl. She's playing with herself in the mirror, kneading the floor when she walks, butting heads with me and craving attention already. And the sweetest little voice....oh god I nearly melted.

Thank you all for your advice while I was neurotic, trying to find a kitty.
I'll post more pics soon. The moment I get more batteries for the camera.

Wonderful! I hear that abys are very bright, inquisitive, and affectionate. I'd love to see more pics of her when you get a chance. We want to add an aby to our family someday (but they are kind of expensiv).
