I'm so upset right now.

My car is the only possesion in this world I've ever owned. I had to leave it back at home when I moved up here. My boyfriends brothers left today to drive it up here (with my strong objections, I didn't want them to drive it)...my dad just called me and they just got into an accident with it and it is totally destroyed. I'm so very upset and so angry. Nothing in my life is going well lately.

The guys that were driving the car are ok, the old guy that hit them is being charged with reckless driving...I did have insurance, but of course that means that it will go up. Which I won't be able to afford. Not only that but they had all of my stuff in the car....very important things to me, which from what I understand were damaged.

Wow, that's horrible! That must be really rough.
Hope your insurance rates won't go up too much.
Glad to hear the people driving your car were ok.

If it's not their fault, then the other guy's insurance should pay for it. Did that guy that hit your car have insurance?

That's horrible about your stuff! Hopefully it isn't as bad as you think. Are you going to have to go to where the car is and try to get this all sorted out?

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! It is fortunate that no one was hurt, at the very least.

All I can do is send you a big hug...hopefully, things will get better soon!

Oh, Tracy, I am really sorry that this had to happen to your car.
BUT I am so very THANKFUL that Reilly and you were not in it when it happened. I will send prayers & vibes that your things get recovered in good shape, and that the insurance co. gives you a very good price on your totalled vehicle. Also, I hope that the boys driving your car take this experience to heart, and vow to be excellent drivers themselves. Hope that things start going your way very soon! Susan

If the other guy is being charged then the 'no fault' insurance should not apply. Call your insurance company and tell them the circumstances. The should make him pay the lot.

I understand your mental state! Been there, done that, and gave the T-Shirt away. However, the car will be replaced and there was no loss of life. Sentimental stuff is difficult to ever get over the loss of, but it's just stuff. I know that it's no solice but life will go on, it's been my experience that every dark cloud has a silver lining. If your feet still hit the floor every morning and you can breathe fresh air, lifes troubles pale in the fact that you are still alive and kicking.

Sorry things have been rough for you lately hun.
Hopefully your insurance won't go up too much. Usually if you've had a good driving record prior to the accident it doesn't shoot up too much. I hope things begin to turn around for you and my thoughts are with you.

Oh goodness Tracy, I am so sorry
.
That is NO FAIR that your insurance should have to go up! Makes NO SENSE! I wish you could sue that idiot that hit your car so that he could pay for your increased insurance! Sheesh, that is so unfair. I am so sorry

Any idea how long it'll be until you have another mode of transportation?

Aww, I'm sorry things are so rough right now.
That insurance thing is stupid. Someone hits your car and YOUR insurance goes up?
Things will get better.

Sorry for your troubles, but I HAVE to ask - if you didn't want them using your car, why were they driving it? Did you have no say in whether someone could drive your car or not?

You can bet that if it were my car, who drove it would be up to ME and me alone.
