One of my 2 cats urinated on my side of the bed - straight through the blankets into mattress (oh wonderful). This is the first time and let me tell you, it doesn't smell like your normal cat urine.
When I got home from work, the area of the bedroom where the bed is located smelled like a fire was brewing. My husband laid in bed and determined that it was cat urine.
It's not the norm for the cats not to use their litter, the smell is an odd smell for cat urine - any thoughts on if one of them is sick?
I can't tell which one it is - so I'm thinking of starting with my 4yr old and taking her in - she's been getting matted hair on her back and hip region - not sure what is causing that - we've had to cut it out, she's not even a long hair - just a domestic short hair....I have a suspicion that it just might be her over my 2 yr old.
Thanks!

http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9563 This is the thread to read- and if you need to know which cat it is there is a new litter on the market that changes color if your cat has a UTI- you would need to separate your cats during and after feedings and use seperate litter pans for each cat-
