So me and steve have been talking once we get the final word...about registerying at target and walmart and such for baby stuff..

would it be out of line to register for..cleaner? LOL..i know that sounds horrible. but..I really love the line of Method the more and more i read about it...cleaner, washing stuff, and hadn soap and lotion! Would it be bad manners to register for it?

I think you should register for whatever you want! I mean I wouldn't register for anything too extreem, but register for what you like!

BTW: the only 'bad' thing I've ever seen regarding registries wasn't on the list, it was the list itself, e-mailed to me from a couple where one of them had been a good friend of mine till a few months before then. The registry served as a 'hey by the way, we're having a baby' announcement. Which I interpreted as 'Hey by the way, we're having a baby, now buy us stuff.' Your registry item is nothing like that! So go for it!

Register for what you want! And even chose the bed and stroller you want. If it is too much $, either a couple Grandma's will go together and get it, or a bunch of girlfriends. Wow, it seems like a long time to wait to know for sure....it must seem even longer to you and Steve!

No way, I think it's a great idea! You want your house to be clean and chemical-free for you baby, so you DO need it. One of the best gifts I got for...either my birthday or Christmas last year, was a basket full of cleaning products because one of my friends knew how much I was stressing over keeping the house clean safely for Cupid.

I think it's fine, especially since they are very affordable items. I agree with you, I looove Method! I use the "green" laundry stuff, and I can't get enough of the smell. People ask about it all the time, and so many people I know have converted!

Cleaning products is a great idea! Over here there are actually gift packs available year round.
As for baby stuff, check out a few baby websites before you go shopping. They have some really good must have & waste of money lists.
Best value is a changing table/baby bath at height compatible with you so you don't havae to bend down. But don't go spending up just yet, gotta get past the magic 12 week mark first. Better to wait till you're 5/6 months pregnant IMO.
You can buy some great stuff off the internet auction sites too!
