Going to be on TV!

I'm part of a multi-agency planning committee that is sponsoring a seminar for area clergy on how to assist people in their churches/synogogues/etc. who are experiencing domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, etc.

Anyway, I got this email this morning from another member of the planning committee:
"Amy, would you have any interest in becoming a TV star in the early am?

Coastal Sunrise, WSAV-TV, can get us on at 5:30 am next Monday, 8/29, and since youâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]re much younger, cuter, and more telegenic than I, you would be a much better choice to entice the clergy. What do you think?

So, guess I'm going to be on TV on Monday. The only tough part will be getting up at 4am on a Monday morning

The deep purple suit would look great. I work with girls here that do interviews or cooking spots on TV all the time. Wear something dark and solid as it shows up well on the camera and don't forget to smile!!! Good luck!!

Wooooh! Congratulations. Make sure that you tape it cos then you can watch it again and see yourself... I was on TV a few years ago, on the Pepsi Chart Music show in the audience. I didn't tell anyone that I was going to be on it, then after it aired my friends & cousins kept on calling me to ask if I knew that I was on TV....

Amy, What is your coloring?

If you are very fair, please select something that is a little lighter- as on camera they light for you specifically, and it will be harder to make you either not look like a lovely person wearing a dark sack, or avery washed out person in a very lovely deep purple suit. If you are tan, however, this isn't a problem to worry about..
