He's very cute! Surely there will be some experts along soon, but for now I would fix him a soft warm blanket to sleep on, get a low sided litter box, some good kitten food and bowls for his food and water.

Hey, thanx! he is a very beautiful kitten. I love how he looks at me. I have em in a box with litter in it rite now until i get him a better "house" to stay in. I gave him some warm milk and he loved it! One thing im worried about is him goin on my carpets, we just got them changed and my mom isnt too fond of me having this kitty. :p She wants me to get rid of him but i cant let em go back to the streets. Im going to try my best to keep him though i think my mom still loves him, shes just being a "mom" lol

But whats the best way to have him NOT go on my carpet? When i checked on him this morning he was out of the box and next to my bed, it was soo cute. He went in the box and i think he took a piss on my carpet, but i cleaned it. Any info will be helpful. thank you

Please do not feed him cow's milk. It can cause him to have diarhea. You can buy him KMR (which you can find at pet stores) which is specially formulated for kittens.

Since you found him outdoors at such a young age...he probably isn't used to using a litterbox.

I would suggest you have him checked over by a vet to make sure he is ok..the vet can at least estimate his age and check for worms etc.

He is a cute kitty! You can train him to use a litterbox by keeping him in one room for a few days, the smaller the better (a bathroom or even a big closet) with his litter box, food and water, and you go in there as often as you can to talk and play with him. Then when you are sure he is using hte box, you can open the door and let him explore the rest of hte house, always being sure he can find his way back to 'his' room. If your home is at all large, or has stairs, then have at least two boxes, as small kittens find it hard to hold themselves in for any length of time.

Hi Furball:

You did whatever you could for him and he passed his last day feeling safe and getting affection and care (maybe for the first time of his life).
He crossed the bridge carrying memories of you being the person trying to save him.
Things like this could bring down the toughest guy! Remind yourself that you were the one giving him the best day of his young life.
Two years ago our shadow (black tom) had to be put down because of severe liver damage and a rapidly growing tumor on his lower jaw.
I don't consider myself a wimp, being an ex-soldier, but is was very difficult to remain "functional" until my wife and me got home.

Take care!

Joe

Thanx Joe, sorry to hear about your loss.

As some people were telling me, its better he passed now then later on when me and the rest of the family would of been more attached to him.

He's in a better place now and doesnt need to worry about other animals attacking him, searching for food, or worrying about getting hit by a car.

Once again R.I.P my little kitty, you will be greatly missed.
