Yep, you've read it correctly. What's the best movie you've never seen? Choose a movie that you seriously think might be really good and something you could enjoy, but for some reason or other you have never seen more than a commercial or box cover of it.

I am Sam

I really wanted to see it, but the timing just never came together. One of these days we'll rent it.

Fran, this is one of my favourite movies. It's breathtaking. You've gotta see it.

The Sixth Sense - I'm trying to wait until I forget the main twist at the end so I'll enjoy it more.

War of the Worlds. Cannot see it b/c of my ban of Tom Cruise movies, even though it looks so cool!

I've never seen The Godfather, and people seem to really like it.

Great film IMO

For me it's the oldies, things like Casablanca, White Christmas et al. I sit down to watch them and just can't quite get into them. I think they'd be great if I actually sat all the way through, but just haven't managed it yet. Maybe when the weather gets colder, and I can snuggle down with the kitties one winters eve

For me there are too many that come to mind but if I had to pick just one it would have to be "The Pink Panther" with Peter Sellars
I saw it when I was about 8 years old and I've loved it ever since!!

Sam,

You really should see Sound of Music one day

I have always wondered why I never took the time to watch Lawrence of Arabia

Meh, you aren't missing all that much, IMO.

There are a lot of the "classics" that I've never seen; Casablanca, The Godfather, Citizen Kane, etc. Probably should make a point to see those some day.
