78 and holding?

You've heard of 29 and holding, well this is 78 and holding. I just happened to check my Post count and it's been holding at 78 since before July 26(no more threads so I can't check back further). From what I count, I've posted 39 or more times since then yet I stay at 78. I guess , I'll be a Young Cat, forever? Right?

Hmm, interesting. Since July 26, I've replied to 21 threads for a total of more than 37 posts( that I was able to count since then, may have missed some. who knows, it's probably been at 78 for months) yet the post counter stayed at - Posts:78- until the post above. Is there something about the Cat Lounge that makes the post counter move but it doesn't move in the Health and Nutrition Section? The current threads that I have replied to, and even one I started today in the Health and Nutrition Section all say Posts : 78 and its been saying that since before July 26. I just happened to notice that now. Is this happening to anyone else? Maybe keep track of your post count just to be sure.

Hey, guess what? They've now all moved up and are holding at 80. So now I guess I'll have to say, 80 and holding. Anyone for 81?

If you went back and found your very first post, it would still have your current number of posts on it. The post does not hold how many it was when you posted it. The post count stays current all over the board.

The post counts change for you as soon as you post. So right now you are at 81. If you go look back at your old post - they will now be at 81 too. Same thing for your siggy - if you change it - they all change.
