Tomorrow, I have an appointment in Richmond... I live in Walthamstow Central (both marked with the pink dot on the tube map).... I am a confused Londoner
I dunno which way to go....
Then I hear that I can get the overland train from Waterloo station as well... now I am even more confused.

As a Londoner in exile I would get the underground from Walthamstow to Earls COurt and then the District Line to Richmond. It is the simplest way and saves you a number of other changes. And the overground to Richmond only goes about every half hour. Good luck!

ahhh I was panicking last night
I got there in the end....

I took the Vicky Line from Walthamstow, changed at Euston onto the Northern Line, got off at Waterloo then got the fast train to Richmond (that turned out to be the slow train because of signal problems). It took me 2 hours....
But on the way home, I got the train from Richmond to Vauxhall then got on the Vicky Line 14 stops all the way home!
I didn't realise the train went via Vauxhall.... but anyway...

My two hours there and one and a half hours back was worth it because my CV has just been sent to 3 companies for consideration for interview...! I am exhausted now...

I was going to do something like that, Walthamstow to Victoria on Vicky Line, Victoria to Richmond on District Line but it just looked a long way.... and I hate the stinking tube

Thanks guys and sorry for being a muppet...

I didn't see Top Shop Nicky...
But I did go into Habitat!

Gilly, I'm glad your journey was uneventful. Everyone's allowed to panic every now and then -
trust me on this one, okay?
