It rained this morning, but the suns out now

Work wise has been a normal day, well apart from someone coming into reception asking who has a silver BMW outside, which happens to belong to my Director.

He saw two kids on push bikes who smashed his passenger window and stole his "road angel" (what tells you when theres speed cameras nearby).

He's only had the £60,000 car for 3 weeks and the alarm didn't go off. So the police are here and the girls in the office are drooling!!

Going grocery shopping tonight, i love it!!

Ouch! That's what happens when you have a BMW - target for vandals to break in etc....

Anyway, it's been raining ALL DAY in London..... I went to a recruitment agency in Chancery Lane, was there for 2 hours doing tests and interviews and stuff. I got home had some lunch and watched some TV - things like Location,Location,Location and Property Ladder....

Then now I am on the computer catching up on TCS etc!

Guinness? Well he came in earlier to say hello, rubbed his soggy tush against my leg

then now he is outside somewhere in the pooring rain....!

It gets me out of this mad house

I think you should start a poll on who actually likes it - I can't stand it!

By the time I come out of the supermarket theres normally a few ppl wandering about with bruised ankles where I have ran them over with my shopping trolley... trolley rage!

THis morning i woke up to teufel meowing and rubbin his butt on the floor, but when i fully woke up i thought i had dreamt it, when i got up there was poop mixed with blood on the floor, so i checked him and bits are raw red, called the vet and she said to not let him lick it.
been ironing, done 3 loads of washing, cleaned the kitchen and packed some stuff up, moving this week.

now i am just relaxing and watching tv

Well here I am "pretending to work" again. Going computer shopping after work-just to see what's out there for me to buy. Cool weather today only high of about 70 degrees.

This morning I woke up to sunshine!! (for the first time in 4 days)

Was supposed to leave this am on a charter to Muskrat Dam, Round Lake, Sandy Lake and Pickle Lake (they are all "lakes" up here!!)...but that was cancelled so I'm just waiting for my passengers to arrive to take them to Thunder Bay where I'm supposed to hold and wait for them to finish a meeting...no biggie though..they have a computer though so I'll be able to check in with TCS throughout the day

For me, I'm just working, sneaking on the catsite, wondering how my new little one at home is doing, frustrated cause I can't get him into the vet till tomorrow........other than that, just the same old Monday. I've never been a fan of them!

Apparently it's 89 degrees outside, though with the humidity I'm sure the heat index is much higher. It does feel a bit cooler than last week though, thank GOODNESS! Today was the first day of the fall semester and I had one class today - Interpersonal Effectiveness and Group Psychotherapy. That's going to be...interesting...to say the least! I was also supposed to teach this morning but being the first day of the semester and there being NO parking anywhere all day no one came to the gym so I wandered around campus instead. In just a few moments I'm going to be taking the hour drive to my dad's store and FINALLY will be getting my car back. It's been in the shop since Thursday because the air compressor had gone bad. So YAY for having my car back!

Not a terribly exciting day though unfortunately.

Over here in the panhandle of Florida its another HOT day.
Very busy at work today. I am a Digitizer at an embroidery shop. My parents own the shop and I moved home to help keep the place running. I'm going after work to check on my new kitty, he hasn't been released by the vet yet so I'm hoping good news today. My son named him Poohbear. I also need to pick up crickets for my water dragon.

I was in court with a client this morning...when we left (around 12pm), we heard a couple of LOUD cracks of thunder....at first we freaked out b/c we thought they were gunshots! It was SO loud! Then the heavens opened up and it's been raining and thundering ever since!

On a happy note, I was in court with a client who I have been working with for almost 2 years....today she got a divorce AND a permanent restraining order from her abusive EX husband!

A good day, indeed!

Even though she's WAYYYY older than I am Chris, I tend to mother her. I would tell her when she would go out for a giggle with her friends on Friday nights to be careful! You just never know!

A rainy day today. Talked to Lily's breeder this morning and found out that Tolly had been ok with the female cat all weekend and his vet check came through ok. So we arranged to go and see him today and bring him home if all was ok. Took Lily to see her breeder mummy and meet Tolly.

So we had a long wet journey to pick up Tolly. Then he yiowed all the way home.

That took most of the day. Then got back and daughter went for her driving lesson. Then I kitty-sat while hubby and daughter went grocery shopping.

It's evening and looking very stormy out now. We're watching football while watching the kitties.

Hot hot hot here! I went to the grocery store this morning to pick up just a few things. We have tons of tomatoes in our garden, so I made spaghetti sauce from scratch today. It's been simmering for the past 6 hours. I hope it's edible!

I have spent the rest of the day cleaning and organizing and doing laundry. We are leaving on vacation Friday morning and I would like to have everything in order before we leave.
