Telltale signs of a fever

What are some telltale signs of a fever, without taking your cat's temp? I thought I remembered reading something like that here one day. IDeas? Thanks

I know when Chuckie has a fever because he'll drool. But not all cats do that when they have a fever. Also he'll lay around more than usual.

Weight loss
Decreased appetite
Decreased activity
Rash
Headache
Personality change
Cough
Abdominal pain
Urinary Symptoms
Bone pain
