I found these in my closet today. I cannot find these exact ones on ebay or anywhere. I saw something like it that came with an album, but the cover I have is slightly different. I wondered if I picked these up when I actually went to see the movie? Does anyone have a clue?

I am clueless, but I bet they are worth auctioning off.

In a Missile LCC somewhere...
Star Wars fan and collector here...

The records that you have were very commmon. They were really edited cut down version of the audio and soundtrack of the movies. I have never seen the Return of the Jedi One, however, the Star Wars one was a very much a common everywhere. I don't know the exact info and value of them, but my guess would be about $20 as they were mass produced all over. I have seen them as cheap as $7 at one record shop, but this was back in 98-99. Heck I'd be interested in buying these and adding them to my collection. If you need more information, let me know.

Btw, a footnote, the Story Of Star Wars was given atleast a gold record, which means it sold atleast 500,000 copies.

Correction...

I thought you were talking about the albums themselves, my apologies. What you have were the booklets that you got with a 45RPM Record that went along with the booklet that you have, if its the right size for a 45RPM record. You could get these thru school when growing up thru the Scholastic book sales and local bookstores. If you have anymore information, feel free to pass it on.

These look familiar to me as well.
I am no Star Wars fan but work with Vintage Books..

If you need more info, give me the copyright date and publisher to start and I can look them up for you.

And tell us if they contained or did contain 45's at one point.

Thanks everyone

Heidi - they are 11 - 1/4 inch square

There is no publication information at all. All it says on the back is 1977 (roman numerals) and 1983 Lucasfilms, Ltd.

All the booklets have inside them are pictures with just little notes - i.e. - Luke rescues Princess . The back inside photo on each book is a cast photo in costume that says "May The Force Be With You"

As I mentioned before, I am really confused now because mine are slightly different from what I have seen as a booklet that came with records and not only that, I only have one original Star Wars LP so I don't know where the Return of the Jedi booklet could have come from .
