Funniest thing I've heard in a whle

So we've been watching the series Stargate SG1 via the magnificent Netflix, and yesterday one of the characters (Major Samantha Carter, who is usually very respectful of her superiors) said something along these lines after Colonel Maybourne had done something typically and colossally stupid: "Maybourne, you're an idiot every day of the week! Can't you take even one day off?"

I am SO gonna have to remember that one.

I Stargate. It wouldn't have been NEARLY as funny if Jack O'Neill said it--but it was SAM.

Stargate is my husband's FAVORITE show. Friday and Monday nights are his nights for SciFi Channel. I'll have to ask him about that line....I'm sure he remembers it.

I don't think I have the wording 100% right, but it's pretty close.

hehehehehe my favourite saying was one my old Chemistry teacher used to use all the time. When someone did something stupid, or said something equally silly he always came back with "Sharp as a billiard ball, you are"

I never watch it but my best girlhood friend does the post-production special effects for Stargate SG1....I remember going into her office once when she first began in the field and she was the one making the lasers appear out of weapons for some sci-fi show...I thought "what a weird job"...

I LOVE Stargate! There are so many great lines in the show, the writers are terrific!

Yup. I didn't think I was going to like it, but it's way smarter and funnier than most TV.
