Howdy all! I hope that everyone had a good week. These weekends come and go way too quickly in my book! What do you say we all start protesting to make the weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday??? A 4 day work week?? Who's with me?

1. Have you ever been frightened by an unexplained noise in your home? Yup. Turned out to be a bat! Yikes! We fix that though, no more bats in the house!

2. What do you do on a typical Saturday? Get up and go to work.

3. Do you look like any of your siblings? Nope, we don't even look related.

4. Your in hurry and the phone rings as your headed out the door.....do you let the answering machine get it, or do you pick it up? Depends on who it is. I have caller ID. If it's my boss, I grab it because he's hard to get ahold of. If it's my MIL I let the machine get it. DH or my mom will hang up on the machine and call my cell phone.

5. What's the last thing you cooked in your oven? Chicken parmesan the other night.

6. Let's go for an hour walk anywhere in the world. Where would it be? I dunno, I'm not a big fan of walking if I don't have to. Usually it's about 5 blocks away and back, with one of my dogs.

7. Uh uh.........your sitting on your sofa and you hear scratching in the walls behind you. What do you do? I haven't had that wonderful experience yet, but my dog Sammi did, and she chewed a dog-mouth-sized hole in the drywall trying to get it.

8. Do you ever ask people when they come over if your house has a "kitty" smell? LOL! Yes I do! I don't tend to notice smells, so I always ask. Especially my sister, she can smell things nobody else can. If it passes her test, I know it smells clean!

9. We're going on a cruise together and the state room has bunk beds. Which bunk do you want? I love the top bunk.

10. Have you ever seen a walrus in the ocean? Nope, but I did get to see the Statue of Liberty from an NYC subway.

11. Let's pack a picnic lunch and go to the lake, it's so beautiful out. What would be in the basket? Oh, probably chicken sandwiches, salad, chips, lemonade.

12. The kits just brought you a pressie........if it was your kit, what would it most likely be? My cats? Bring me something? Not likely! That would mean they'd made an effort to get up and do something. Gizmo used to drag my underwear around the house when she was younger, though.

13. Do you know who Bobby Sherman is/was? (not sure if he's still alive) Nope.

14. What is your middle name? Not telling! I hate it!

15. Your in the grocery store and you knock over a whole display of glass jarred pickles!!! No one is around and sees. Do you run or stay? The smell of pickles makes me sick, so I'd probably just have to throw up right there!

16. Would you like to spend a week on a dude ranch? How about an Amish farm? Both would be fun!

17. What were you like in your senior year of highschool? I hated school, and my Senior year I had an attitude problem toward most of the teachers, and missed as many days as I could get away with!

18. Have you ever had a garage sale? Yup. Mine usually don't make enough money to be worth my while. But my mom had one with soem people from work, and my stuff made $43.

19. What's the silliest thing you've ever done? Oh lots and lots of things. Too many to name one!

2. What do you do on a typical Saturday? Laundry, grocery shopping, clean the house, snuggle with my family

3. Do you look like any of your siblings? I look closest to my brother. My 2 sisters are blondes and brunettes - I'm a redhead

4. Your in hurry and the phone rings as your headed out the door.....do you let the answering machine get it, or do you pick it up? I don't even answer when I'm not running out the door. 98% of my calls are solicitations

5. What's the last thing you cooked in your oven? A breakfast burrito (cooking right now)

17. What were you like in your senior year of highschool? I only went a few weeks senior year before I graduated. I was working full time and getting ready to start college so didn't have a lot of time for fun

18. Have you ever had a garage sale? Yup - made about $650 on my junk

19. What's the silliest thing you've ever done? Only one? Went barefoot and pregnant to a work Halloween party one time

It was about 9pm and I was home alone and became totally petrified! My dad was going to be home in half an hour, but I thought someone was going to break it before then! That last one is pretty rare though!

3. Do you look like any of your siblings? Yes! My brother and I definitely look alike. We're almost the same height too.

5. What's the last thing you cooked in your oven? I baked a cake a few days ago, so that's the last thing that was in my oven.[/FONT]

8. Do you ever ask people when they come over if your house has a "kitty" smell? No, I don't think I have. Sometimes people will comment that "it doesn't smell like a litterbox" though, so that's a good thing.

Actually that's funny, because the cruise I'm going on in October WILL have bunk beds for my friend and I to sleep in because that's the only kind of room we could afford!! The tiniest one without a window!! Good thing I'm not closterphobic, huh?

17. What were you like in your senior year of highschool? I was on our dance team - the Sunsations - so I was in every peprally and at every football game, and I was also in a couple of plays. I used to wear pajamas to school a lot because I just didn't care. I loved high school so I was pretty much me as I am now, just 4 - 4 1/2 years younger, and slightly more conscious of what other people thought of me. I had a blast my senior year though.

18. Have you ever had a garage sale? Not one run by me, but my mom has had plenty that I've helped out with.

19. What's the silliest thing you've ever done? I tend to be pretty silly in general, so this was tough. I think a good one was when me, Brendan, and this girl who was 13 at the time (daughter of one of my mom's friends, so when she's here I look after her like an older sister) were at Disney World and were getting ready to leave. This girl was at that stage in her life where she was embarrassed by EVERYTHING! So, we were trying to show her that it didn't matter at all so we started skipping down Main Street and finally got her to skip as well. Well, Brendan's foot got in front of me and crashed HARDCORE right in the middle of the busiest part of Disney. The girl was mortified so I played it up. I was yelling that I couldn't get up and how Brendan was going to have to carry me, so Brendan played along and scooped me up and we made this HUGE scene as we left Disney, Brendan carrying me the whole way. The poor girl was SO embarrassed. And to make matters worse, once we got on the trolley to take us to our part of the parking lot, we decided to start telling everyone it was her birthday. She hadn't wanted to sit with us on the trolley because we were being so embarrassing, so she was sitting a few rows away, and we would get all these random people to wish her a happy birthday and at one point got a few people to sing along with us. It was great!

I guess that would be licking my specimen of coprolite. To save you time googling, a coprolite is fossil animal dung. Mine is a lovely iron stained mass that was to have come from a turtle. It looks like something left by a large dog. Anyway, the schoolkids I was talking to were a bit nonchalant and I licked it to get a reaction. (BTW, with a fossil, the original material has been replaced by minerals.) It did get the kids more interested and talkative.

Yeah, especially when we first bought the cats a water fountain the noise freaked me out

Reminding me of how much I work

Do some work I have brought home with me, tidy up because I have not had time to do it all week, grocery shopping, any other shopping I need to do, call relatives in England, and spend some quiet time with my BF and cats

Yep, all three of us look alike

Ooooh a hard one, ummmm, errrmmm Warsaw, Poland to see if I could find the cute cop I met and get his phone number again (I love my boyfriend, but he was special, I lost his phone number when my bags were lost on the flight home

Nope, with four cats I know it has a kitty smell, I am usually surprised by people who tell me it doesn't smell

Top, I had the bottom one when I was a kid and always banged my head, saying that my little sister fell off the top one and got her clothes caught up on the bed post and nearly hung herself so I am freaked out by bunkbeds

YES

Sleep in a little, nice brunch -- on the back porch in good weather, light tidying, visit Dad, a few errands; some reading, some playing with kitties,some computer time interspersed amongst the rest.

I have one brother. I don't know that you'd say we look alike, but we both look like Mum, if that makes any sense.

Depends on what I'm hurrying to, and whether I'm expecting a call -- I'll probably look at the call display just in case.

Not much happening in the oven these days -- too hot. Probably the last batch of scones I did, a few weeks ago.

I don't know how to make the best use of an hour's walk anywhere but right here, and I can show you a very lovely hour on nature trails, very close to my home. Put on your walking shoes.
