Strange behavior..

About a year ago I found 2 kittens. I decided to keep them. I named one of them king tut because he laid around like he was a king and did not bother with anyone. Then one day he took a liking to me and its been down hill ever since. Tut is a long haired cat and he is blind in one eye, he will not clean himself if I dont pay attention to him and he will not eat unless I sit with him. When its time for bed he must sleep on top of me, either on my back or on my chest. If I am not home he will not eat at all and this has me worried because I am planning to go on vacation soon and I dont want anything to happen to him. He's been checked and is in perfect health, but no one can tell me what his problem is. If I even look at another cat he will pout and not come near me for hours... help!!! Anyone have any ideas...

Hi, I've had a couple like Tut, who glue themselves to you forever, and it's very flattering, but I learned that when we go away, they manage to eat plenty, sleep well and take good care of themselves. They're just greedy, and want you all to themselves, but they also are perfectly able to manage like any other cats when they have to. There's no 'problem' at all, just you willing to spoil him, and him taking advantage :-)!
