Yes it is an improvement.

I agree too. I do want to make sure I get something that will get his system in gear to eating better.

Re :

"My personal experience in using Kitty Kaviar or Wildside Salmon for over 3 years in one cat as an appetite stimulant (NOT every meal or every day, so keep that in mind) my crf fellow has not had a single UTI."

It would appear that this cat may be the exception rather than the rule. Unless other cats are exceptions to the rule too, they could end up with an extra problem besides lack of appetite.

As for the use of Cyproheptadine, I don't know how credible that link is. Tanya's? It seems to be gathered info and not her own personal experience with Cyproheptadine. I don't know either if the " knowledge of cyproheptadine" the member professes to have is one based on experience or gathered data.

Let's see how effective one member(vet tech) found it to be :

"I LOVE cyproheptadine! If all else fails ask your vet about it. As Pat said it could have side effects (as any drug could) but I have yet to see any negative ones and we use it quite a bit."

I guess that's the difference between knowledge based on the accumulation of data and one based on actual experience.

What kind of prices does Walmart's charge for these? Tyler projectile vomits with these (as I found out when doing reviews on the various flavors
), but the rest of my crew loves these

I can't remember if I told you or not...the vet's office told me to take away his free choice meals. She said that he's probably just munching through out the day and it's just enough to sustain him. So I'm to give him his meals. So he'll have breakfast, dinner and snack. lol

OH thanks. I do believe I missed this post. I definately have some turkey I can give him. All out of chicken right now.

Yes it's just driving me bonkers. He's happy and healthy otherwise. He's drinking really good. lol I suppose I just need to give him time to adjust to all the new sounds and smells. Poor little guy. He was loving me last night while I brushed him.
