It may be nothing but I don't think the 5 month old kittens I have poop much, and it seems dry and small. They eat very good, I free feed them Iams and Kitten chow, they also get canned food Iams 2 times a day, they seem to be drink water ok, and once in a while I give them the Wiska's car milk and a few kitty treats, and some plain cooked chicken. They have all been spayed, tested, shots, treated for worms, and fleas, should I be concerned? Thanks

One reason is what your feeding them.. corn is not very digestable whether your cat dog or human.... by products are really not digestable as they are head feet internal organs... If budget is a concern go check out Authority at your local Petsmart it is good quality without a heavy price tag... also they make great cans ... just compare... If $$ are a bit more open look at Nutro and Royal Canin

No budget is not a problem, I have tried many different kinds and to me when you start reading labels it all kinda looks crappy, but I am willing to try different kinds, it seems that alot of the canned food is very bland and dry looking, the reason I am full of questions is because I have never had kittens, these are 5 I rescued and 2 have already gone to good homes, and I want to make sure they stay healthy till I find them homes, and hope the people will do the same.

Get them on higher end food
...

Heres my to avoid list:

corn
grd corn
any by product (other than liver in canned)
bht bha ethoquin sodium hexametaphosphate and a few others... ( look for mixed trycopherols aka vit e the natural form)
artificial colors and flavors
too many grains ( 1 meat to one grain I love)

They should be on something like Iams kitten or Eukanuba Kitten!! I would stay away from the Chicken, and stick with one can of kitten food a day

You would purposly feed head feet and internal organs as well as the least digestable grain with added chemical preservatives??? Sorry but most of us that have done homework on feline nutrition wouldnt any more than we would eat fast food every day...sorry about spelling mine sucks ...

Well I didn't get there today, my grandson came to visit, but I will be there tomorrow, also is the Cooked chicken a bad idea? These guys are spoiled rotten, all I have to do is say Look what I've got and they will come running. They are small I think for 5 mos, but I'm not to sure, mommy is a very compact kitty and after I got her spayed she filled right out, they weigh about 5lbs 8 ozs to the little black one is about 5lbs 2 ozs, they are all spayed as well, I know the little black and white that is a full brother to Mommy cat was tiny, not he's just short of a year old and he weighs 10lbs
I don;t have a small one here, there between 10 and 12 and my big Orange boy is 16lbs
and he doesn't eat much of anything, he doesn't like treats either. I had a Basset Male that we lost last year at 7 that weighed 90lbs, he was alway's over weight, but everything I ever had is or was, my daughters weighed 3lbs when they were born and now there 170 to 200lbs, I have always been 95 to 110, maybe its the cook
