I've recently noticed Mr. Underfoot has sometimes been sleeping with his eyes open.

It's a little disturbing to see him laying there motionless, with a vacant stare on his face, so I'll rush over to check on him and just find that he's asleep.

Do anyone else's cats do this? It's a recent development with him, and none of my other cats have ever done it that I've noticed before, though my dogs do sleep with their eyes open sometimes.

Yeah, Roo will do that sometimes and it freaks me out! I wind up having to wake her up just to make sure she's ok!

My mom's cat sometimes does that. It kinda freaks me out, actually. Usually he sleeps with his eyes half-open with only the white showing (
), but lately he's been sleeping with at least one eye open. So you're not the only one!

Oliver will sometimes sleep with one eye open, which is pretty freaky. The two eyes must be even freakier!
