For those of you who don't remember, I was complaining earlier that my phone company wouldn't connect my phone until Sept 16... even though I was moving on Sept 1. That would have meant 2 weeks without phone or internet (I have DSL right now)
Well, I just found a better option today. It's a cable company... that also offers phone and internet over cable. I didn't even know you could have phone through cable.
Anyways, I called them and asked the lady how long it would take for them to connect me... she said she was sorry but there were delays in installation... I'd have to wait until Sept 2!
So I signed up for both phone and internet with them. I'll pay $19 a month for local phone (vs. $26 with the other company) and no installation charge (vs. $55 connection charge). For internet, I'll pay $15 for the first 6 months and $25 after that (I'm paying $30 right now). All the equipment and modem is included.
HURRAY!!!
