You know your cats in charge when.....

You have to go to the potty SOOO bad, but they're sleeping in your lap and you hate to disturb them............

Or when you want to read a book, but you don't want to move them off the pages you were looking at.... besides, they're too cute when they do that, right?

Oh been there many times snooz!. I don't know how i havent had any bladder infections through it?!

So true Lillie....anyone have any more that has happened to them?

I daren't turn over in bed because i'd disturb Sophie who lies right against my legs!.

I do stuff like that all the time!, my boyfriend says "who runs this household!"....like he has to ask!

I've taken way more naps than I really need to, bc Milo looks so cute laying on my shoulder. My friends make fun of me, but hey he needs the rest!!

...you spend lots of time looking at kitty toys when you know you already have some at home!

You know that your cats are in charge when you get their teeth cleaned before you have your own cleaned.

you know when they are in charge when they bite your elbow to get your attention even after they had been fed only 10 mins before

or when they chase the neighbours dog for just walking past their owners home

or when they refuse to move off the bed when your changing the sheets

When you haven't hoovered in weeks because the sound scares the kitties


When you wander around the supermarket and forget to buy dinner for yourself, but come back with a whole fresh roasted chicken for them (£3 from Tesco - well impressed!!)

You sit at the computer with a blankie or towel on your lap, because a cat might grace you with their presence, and you want them to be nice and comfy. (Also helps keep little claws from pulling a thread in your pants. Trimming the claws more often would be better, but kitty doesn't like that much, so we try to put it off!)

How about when you look at houses you first check to see where the cat tree should go! Then you plan where the litter boxes go. And you have a Tivo wish list category for cat programming.

You take the day off of work bc you don't feel well, but instead of going to the doctor for yourself, you take the cat to the vet bc something doesn't seem quite right.

you go to the butcher for the cats meats but you settle for grocery store hambuger causes its cheaper..

These are great guys! We're such suckers for our kits, huh?
