My friend couldn't take him after all, so off to the vet he went and they went totally bonkers over him! Five vet techs were fighting for the right to take him home! I was so amazed and have never seen anything like it. He checked out perfectly okay, but on the down-side of URI but nothing that required meds.

I totally loved this boy so did Mike, but we have other cats some of which disturbed him greatly. He was fine with the dogs, but he needs to be where someone can lavish attention on him only. I had to look out for his best interest, and the vet tech that finally won the lottery lol has a puppy. He will be fine, he will have the best vet care available and I can visit him anytime-. I would rather put him in a better home, then keep him and get more attached than we already were. He is without doubt, a very exceptional cat!

Free vet care! Wow! I knew it wouldn't be long before he gets a home.

But right now I can not give him all the attention he deserves.

Let me tell you just how jealous my oldest, Patrick was..he'd yowl and jump up to the kitty perch on the other side of the window where Velcro was sitting yelling to get in...and Patrick would stare out the door if I opened it, to see if Velcro was there...
Patrick made it clear he has no intention of sharing me with any cats other than the ones we already have. ('cause those, he has all in line..with him top oldest cat...heh heh).
I find it's impossible to understand people sometimes. If he is a pure bred bengal, he wasn't cheap. What would possess someone to spend all that money on a cat, only to be so negligent in that cat's care and finally give him away? And what about their other bengal? Did they found a home for her?

Free vet care & love too? That's hard to beat. When you get updates about Velcro MA...please share them with us.

I would keep your eye out for more unique kitties in this neighborhood, if he was running free and only recently neutered, there are going to be some stunning kittens showing up

Wow, I missed all this yesterday. Interesting to know what goes on just a couple of miles down the road form me!

Pat, is he an indoor boy only? I woldn't think the Bengals could run around outside. I just want him to have a great home and lots of attention.

Velcro's colors & markings are so unique. He is really beautiful.
I pray that he lives a long, carefree life, filled with love.

Thanks for sharing the pictures MA.
PS...Fluffball China look so cute in the sunshine.

Oh there he is. Such a handsome, handsome boy
I will def. keep my eyes open for kittens in the neighborhood in a few months.

Interestingly, tonight was the first time in over a week that I've seen the other stray in my life - Itty Bitty Blue - he was running out of our backyard (there is a gap between the fence the side of the house, into our driveway and stopped and stared, then ran.

At least I know he's okay.

Eddie, it's such a long story, no, he should not have been outside.

I understand, I instantly recognized him from last time. It sounds as if the former owners are just careless and clueless. No surprise he made his way back to you again.

Just heard from the tech that took him home. Everyone in the home flipped over him, he now rules the roost! LOL He will be fine! YAY! I love these types of endings. Mike was laughing at me last night, he was reminding me of the cats in the past that we have had that were breed specific, and that they just don't last here. Starlight lives in California now, and we had another one years ago that was a Cornish Rex that we rehomed, and now Velcro. What can I say except that I try to look out for the best interest of the cats, and here, regardless of how gorgeous and wonderful Velcro is, he would have not have gotten the attention he so deserves.

Thank you MA - ruling the roost is just what he deserves to do. He does make it clear he wants and needs a lot of attention, that he has a lot of love to give. He's kind of irrepressible!

I'm happy that this beautiful Bengal boy got a wonderful home where he will be loved and cherished. He is such a beautiful cat, but then I think all Bengal's are simply breath taking. Photo's just don't do them justice. Sometimes I look at my Simba and he just takes my breath away.

Did you notice how soft and lush his fur was? Simba's fur feels like a mink coat.

Yes, it was luscious
His personality was a real eye opener for us, it was a good introduction to what the Bengal breed has become.

What a beautiful cat! He has some very unusual but gorgeous markings there, it would be hard to pass on him if he also has a nice personality! I hope they'll all get along so you can keep him!
