I got a book on painting rocks, decided to try out a few. They are nowhere close to the examples in the book, but practice makes perfect, I suppose.

Here's my fishy:

My snail: (Sorry, the camera wasn't centering properly)

And, my Garden Gnome! I just made it up, wasn't in the book:

I hope to paint my Poodle and Flibbo some day, but I'll need a lot more practice!

(Sorry if this was supposed to be in Fur Pictures Only.)

Those are really cool!
You've got quite the steady hand. I know I wouldn't be able to do it. I can hardly handle a paint brush these days.

I love those pet portraits on rocks! I almost had some done of my cats, but I ended up commissioning some wrapped canvas portraits from the artist instead. I still want the rock portraits... hey, maybe if you're in business one day, I can order them from you!

Nice job...I too like the fishy! But don't laugh too much that's how I have my own business. Started as a hobby.

That's so fun!
I've been trying to find some sort of creative outlet, I used to knit but never got good enough to make anything other than scarves!
My new house has a little garden out front--I'm thinking I might go buy a couple of rocks and give rock painting a try!
What's the name of the book you have been reading?
