this is kind of long but bare with me. I have two cats. One is a red tabby who is four and her name is Casey and I have another cat named Bayley who is a regular brown tabby who is also four from two different litters. I recently have been caring for my neighbors barn kitten since he through it outside.
I know. It's awful. That is why I am taking care of her. She is only about hmm I want to say six weeks old. Ok. First of all, she has a bald spot on her head. I don't know what happened but the fur isn't growing back. Know of anything? Second, she loves
to bite people on the arms and hands randomly. It's her thing.. I'm not kidding.. its a little creepy. Why does she always bite me. It is a playful bite.
Please help.. Thanks

Welcome to the site. First...as far as the bald patch...I would suggest you get her seen by a vet to make sure it isn't ringworm (which is highly contagious). Secondly...as far as the biting goes, she is probably responding to you the way she would another kitten or cat...I would recommend that when she bites you, you say "ow" really loud and pull your hand away and instead play with her with a feather toy. If she learns that biting is ok at this tender age (even as play) she will continue to bite as she gets older. Redirecting her biting towards more appropriate activities is best.

Thank you Katie. Yes, I do need to take her to a vet and I will as soon as I can. My Aunt came over today and also suggested it could be ringworm. I really hope it is not. Thank you for the advice on her biting. I will try that. It sounds like a good plan to me. Thanks so much!
