I thought I was the only one who ever did this! My cat Rocky rubbed up next to me and got some on his ear. A wee bit of fur came off and I wiped with a wet wash cloth. No worse the wear though.

I would first of all to be safe, contact the company and let them know. Some of those products are toxic to pets (especially since animal testing is no longer in full force). They may laugh at you, but they will also let you know if it is possible for this to really harm your cat over time. I mean if it strips away hair off your legs it has to have something in it.

Unless your cat starts acting off, I wouldn't panic and run him to the vet. But definitely keep an eye on him.

I know a girl who naired her horse's legs once! It was before a show, and she didn't want to clip him, so she took Nair and put it on his feathers (he was a draft) and naired him!
He got a nasty rash and she couldn't show him at all because he was "ouchy." The show vet yelled at her and told her she was lucky he was a Draft horse, it could have been worse. The chick was only 17 years old and all she could do was cry-

This reminded me when I was a teenager at home of my Siamese cat. My mom was painting the hall and my cat walked right threw the rolling pan of paint. Little kitty paws right across the carpet into the bathroom. LOL Too funny! Love, Hope

I naired my cat a little over a year ago, too. He came up to me and rubbed the side of his head into my leg. I freaked and called an emergency vet but was told just to wash it off of him and he should be fine. Well, as we all know with nair, when you wipe/wash it off, the hair comes off as well. So the top part of his head and part of the side as well as the whiskers on the side and top of that eye were all... gone... but it grew back fairly quickly and he now seems to have memorized the scent of the dreaded nair because he stays away even after i've used it and wiped it all off.

Oh dear, poor baby.

Sashka knocked me once when I was dying my hair and a spot of dye dropped on her back - she had a little white patch amongst her grey fur until it grew out!!

It IS funny that he spat the treats out at you....woah he was NOT a happy boy, was he???

This isn't THAT relevant, but one year the junior high school kids spray painted all the dogs in the neighborhood blue.

OK, You win!
When I was making my son lunch a few months ago, I accidentally knocked a bowl of vanilla pudding off the counter and it landed right on Molly's back and slid down the side of her. She was NOT amused in the slightest! While not toxic, I still had to give her a bath and she wouldn't come near me after that for 3 days!
