What price would I be looking at for one of these... preferably male!?

You will need to find a breeder in your area, prices of Persians will vary. I have been offered free top show quality Persians with National winning parents, grandparents, etc to $500 pet quality Persians, who have no winning lines in their pedigree. Find a breeder in your area, you will want to find a quality breeder, it may cost a little more but you get what you pay for and by paying a little more you will get a healthier kitten.
