here it is tell me how dumb it is

What makes you think it is dumb. What? You think Itzhak Perlman just decided to pick up a violin one day and became a master. If that is your first effort you are doing just fine. I havent been able to figure PSE 3 enough to do anything with it yet. Good Job Rhonda.

Rhonda it's great!!! And yes you are putting yourself down because i tell you i honestly wouldn't know where to start on something like that!
Rhonda - it's good! To learn it, you just need to keep playing around and see what happens - you never know what will come out!

Keep going and you'll be a pro in no time at all!

The Looooovveboat, soon she'll be making another run.

I like it!

The post above made me laugh

Rhonda - I love nautical stuff. I think it's cute Isn't it fun to play around with photo editing? I have a "for dummies" book that I plan on getting out today and playing with
post #8 of 24
I think it's excellent! I'd be well happy if I could make anything like that!

I'd love to learn to use photo editing software too, but I haven't got time so I chickened out and asked someone else to do it for me

No, no, no! It's great for a fledgeling effort! It'll take time to learn all the little ins and outs of playing with the graphx. I say playing as you do not want to know what goes into some of the professional stuff, things like histograms, color channels, arithemetic algorithms and tons of other stuff that I have no idea what it does (still like to play with it though !) It's like having a washing machine with 22 buttons on it but you only use 4!

You go, girl! The only thing I see is that they look a bit "squashed," there should be some sort of an option called "keep aspect ratio" or some such that may not have been checked/turned on when you re-sized them. If it was turned on, then what I'm seeing is camera distortion.

Also, I see that's a .png which is an excellent file type qualitywise, but generally hard to get the actual file size down (this particular one is 136kb for instance.) When you get your final copies made, you'll want to save as .jpgs and optimize them at the same time.

Have you tried doing a google for tutorials using your software? You can also probably benefit from Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro tutorials as all imaging and graphics software is basically similar and you should be able to apply some of the same techniques to your own program.
