Anyone else catch this new "reality" show?

OK, I am NOT a reality TV fan, but I AM a HUGE Tommy Lee fan, and have been since I was 12. Actually, I've been in love with Tommy since I was 12 in 1984 when Shout at the Devil was out. But I really liked the show. It actually shows that Tommy isn't actually that stupid.
Although I think it's a but unfair to take someone who has been out of school for 20+ years and throw him into those types of classes. I graduated from college and I would be totally lost in the classes he's taking!

I think way back when (in the heyday of Motley Crue), he was very sexy & attractive. Most drummers are.

However, he beat up Pam Anderson more than once. And any guy who abuses a woman is a wimp & a loser. So, sexy or not? Tommy Lee has issues if he picks on a woman.

I personally don't think he did any of that.

Well, I think there was probably more to the story with Pam than we ever knew about, but regardless...he did the time, he took anger management classes, and he has at least partial custody of his kids. He and Pam remain on good terms - which I know I couldn't do with someone who beat me!

I think it's interesting that people were so quick to pass judgement on the show before it even aired (the letter to the editor from last October). He was actually not in basic freshman courses. He had tougher courses than I ever did in college. And they are showing that it's not easy, and the profs aren't cutting him any slack for being Tommy Lee or being a pop-in student. Even the one thing he thought he would "Ace", the band, isn't easy. I'm sure it was a distraction for the students, at least for the first week or two. But as much as I love Tommy, if I was seeing him every day (or 3 times a week as most classes are), the awe factor would wear off pretty fast. But maybe that's just me.

What classes is he taking? I'm not really a Tommy Lee fan so I probably won't ever catch the show, but I'm interested to know what he's taking.

The fact that he's going back to school and is in hard classes doesn't really impress me all that much. People do it all the time, and yes they all deserve respect, but he certainly doesn't deserve any more than anyone else. My mom went back twice (for bachelor's then master's) after very long hiatuses and people all over the world do it everyday. It's just that for most people money is the obstacle to going back to school. Maybe those are the people who should be offered the reality TV shows, at least it would help them pay the ridiculous tuition and book costs! I'm just so tired of these reality TV shows, especially the ones that are centering around celebrities or created by a celebrities parents (*cough*Joe Simpson*cough*)!

I don't watch any of the reality shows, most of them are ridculous.
A Reality show that would work for me is showing how many animals in this and other countries are neglected, lost, and abused. Most of the time those shows are so phoney and set up. We know that animal neglect is a fact, and real
Reality to me is what one person to the next thinks it is. If we could put all the money used on some of these shows, maybe we could make a dent in the the animal population, and taking care of the problems there are for the animals..

I agree, we could use the money elsewhere. Who wants to watch Paris Hilton and her sidekick make MORE money and treat people and everything like a joke and like crap.

Although I do think Tommy is hot!
Err......And I do watch Canadian Idol, Survivor (even though i hate it) and Amazing Race.

My first "boyfriend" (it hardly counts) lived next door to Tommy and Pamela in Malibu. His mother told me that they saw her a lot and "it sure didn't look like she had a cold." She was bruised a lot, etc. So I don't really like him.

I also don't like "reality" TV anyway. They are very, very edited and hardly about reality.

But I believe in the free right to watch what TV shows you want to watch.

No I cannot stand to see what has happened to the animals, I don't even like wild Kingdom
I can't stand it when the Lions and such kill the other animals, my hubby just automatically turns past it. I can watch Discovery Health like Trauma

Tommy Lee grosses me out. All those tattoos, major turn off! I watched the Comedy Central Roast of Pam Anderson the other night though, and it seems like they do have a friendly relationship with each other. I don't think it's fair to condemn someone for thier past. If he has straightened himself out, and has moved past that immature behavior, then there's no reason to hate him for it. I've done things in my past that I'm not proud of, but I've moved past it and it would be wrong to condemn me for it now. So while I don't like the man, I don't see any point in hating him for his past. It defintely appears to me that he's grown up somewhat and that he's probably apologized to Pam. Otherwise, she'd have no reason to be so friendly to him now. It's not like she needs his money or anything.
